There are 4 options when you need a new toner cartridge - which gives you the best value?

BRANDED OEM CARTRIDGE
This is the most expensive option, for example a Brother TN3060 retails at £104.99. The cartridges you receive may be remanufactured as part of the manufacturers recycling program

PSL PRIVATE LABEL REMANUFACTURED ORIGINAL
This is an OEM cartridge that has been remanufactured by our independent remanufacturer to ISO 9001 standards. The product is supplied with full warranty and printer liability cover and our remanufactured TN3060 retails at £44.95, a massive saving of over £60.00. In summary we believe the same quality as an OEM for less than half the price!

OTHER COMPATIBLE CARTRIDGES
There are many compatible cartridges on the market which range in quality and price. New build compatibles are copies of OEM cartridges and may not give the same performance as OEM or PSL remanufactured original. Some remanufactured cartridges are not remanufactured to ISO 9001 standards, these are generally sold at similar prices to PSL products but often do not represent the same high performance and therefore value.

REFILL - NO REFURBISHMENT - DRILLED AND FILLED ONLY!
Often the cheapest option however with over 50 components in a toner cartridge – some of which are designed to have a finite life of one cycle only, will often fail or give poor print results. In our opinion therefore not offering customers good value!

In Summary – BEST VALUE is achieved when both quality and price are considered.

Buy remanufactured toner cartridges - high quality cartridges are available with the same performance as new cartridges at a lower price.

Return your toner cartridges for remanufacture: by pre-paid envelope, through a specialist remanufacturing company or charity-run scheme.
